That rarely starts with a camera. It starts with the question of what needs telling, to whom, and why now.1 Only once that is settled do images become a means rather than an expense.
Material you already have is welcome. The best images are often in an archive nobody opens any more.2
We started as two and now work with a steady circle around us — a designer, a photographer, and whoever else the job calls for. They are chosen not on their rate but on what they want to make. You are part of that same conversation, from the first hour to the last file.
We would rather work for people who make something they stand behind themselves. That is not a philosophy but a working agreement: it decides what we take on and what we leave.
1 These three questions are cheaper to ask than to skip. A misdirected film costs ten times what a wrong plan does.
